Krista graduated from the University of Essex with a Masters in Freudian analytic theory, and her passion for working with people led her to Yorkville University where she completed a Masters of Counselling Psychology.
She uses an integrated client-centred approach to form a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and trust, drawing from modalities that include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Krista has experience assisting teens and adults through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, self-esteem, and identity, communication and relationship struggles, and those diagnosed with ADHD and Autism.
